Kim graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in Fine Arts.  She then opened a small art gallery and frame shop in North Carolina.  This gallery really inspired her by being around other artists.  She owned  The Underground Club, in Croatia, which is a place for local and international artists to paint together, learn new techniques and share inspiration.  She now resides in Norfolk, Virginia and teaches art classes at Paint n Sit in Virginia Beach.
